The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) has communicated to providers in a memorandum dated April 20 that DCH is preparing to make final payments for the State Fiscal Year 2017 Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) program. Gross payments, intergovernmental transfer amounts, and related documents are included with the memorandum. This information will also be posted on DCH’s website in the near future. - Letter of Agreement if not previously submitted, Notices of Intent to Transfer, and any change in banking information are due Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
- Intergovernmental transfers are due by noon on Friday, April 28, 2017 (no exceptions will be granted).
- Payments will be issued on Monday, May 8, 2017.
Hospitals will receive a separate notice regarding repayment of excess interim payments over final payment amounts, if applicable.
