Eddie is a principal in the Tax practice at Draffin & Tucker where he focuses on the healthcare industry. He brings more than 31 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Eddie specializes in providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to multi-entity healthcare systems and large physician group practices.

He has represented several organizations in IRS examinations, including two successfully appealed tax exempt revocation cases.

Eddie has more than 39 years of experience in public accounting. Before joining Draffin & Tucker, Eddie spent almost 20 years in the tax practice of two Big Eight accounting firms, mostly in healthcare. He is currently involved in a full range of federal and state tax services provided to hospitals, physician groups, nursing homes, health insurance companies and other healthcare organizations. Eddie’s experience includes tax compliance and advisory services for multi-entity healthcare systems, physician/hospital joint ventures, hospital restructurings, executive and deferred compensation arrangements.

Eddie is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

When not in the office, he can be found golfing, reading or cheering on the Crimson Tide.
