Steve is a partner in Draffin Tucker’s Audit and Accounting service group with more than 35 years of experience in public accounting. His professional development has been concentrated in the healthcare industry, where he is directly involved in the full range of accounting services provided to hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.
Steve has gained extensive knowledge auditing healthcare entities, preparing Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party cost reports, as well as budgeting, preparation of program reimbursement reporting forms and reimbursement management related to the healthcare industry. He is a frequent speaker at various healthcare industry associations on current topics affecting the industry.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Alabama and Georgia.
He is married to Cathy Bedsole and they have two married daughters and three grandchildren. When not in the office, Steve can be found on the nearest golf course or tennis court, traveling or cheering on the Troy Trojans and Auburn Tigers. He enjoys the dining and entertainment opportunities afforded by the Atlanta office location, as well as the quail hunting and fishing opportunities afforded by the Albany office location.
