Sarah is a partner in Draffin Tucker’s Consulting service group in Atlanta, where she focuses on the healthcare industry. She serves as the firm’s Resource Solutions practice leader and also assists in the firm’s Audit and Accounting service group. Sarah has significant experience in financial management of complex healthcare organizations, revenue cycle improvement, internal controls and compliance, and system conversions. She is a frequent speaker on various topics impacting healthcare organizations.
She has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry including 10 years as a Chief Financial Officer in the Atlanta area. Sarah was the CFO and Chief Compliance Officer of a large home healthcare and hospice organization, and she also held the position of CFO for a large academic physician practice organization. Before becoming a CFO, she was a manager at a Big Five accounting firm where she supervised financial statement audit engagements for a variety of healthcare organizations.
Sarah is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Georgia.
Originally from Yardley, Pennsylvania, Sarah resides in Dunwoody with her three “kids” – Drew, Danielle, and Nick. Beside family activities, Sarah is an avid swimmer, enjoys kayaking, and trains for sprint triathlons. She also volunteers as a swim coach for children with special needs.
