Tax principal Eddie Phillips authored the article, “Hospitals and Community Health – Is the Game Changing?” for Becker’s Hospital Review, which was published on Sept. 24, 2013. They must also satisfy certain other requirements under PPACA relating to financial assistance policies, emergency care policies, limitations on amounts billed individuals eligible for financial assistance, and restrictions on billing and collection activities.
