Summary:
The Digital Transformation Senior Associate plays a key client-facing role in supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives for mid-market organizations. This role blends IT strategy development, Agile-based delivery and training, and pragmatic IT operating model design informed by ITIL principles. The Senior Associate works closely with client stakeholders and firm leadership to help organizations modernize how IT delivers value, improve execution discipline, and align technology strategy to business outcomes.
This role is suited for a high-performing consultant early in their career who is comfortable operating in a lean, growth-oriented consulting environment that values independence, professionalism, and measurable client impact.
Essential Functions:
IT Strategy & Transformation (40%)

- Contribute to the development of IT strategies, roadmaps, and phased transformation plans aligned to business objectives
- Support current-state assessments and future-state design across IT capabilities, governance, and delivery models
- Assist in executive-ready deliverables including strategy decks, roadmaps, operating models, and decision support materials
- Support Microsoft-centric enablement initiatives, including Azure strategy, Microsoft 365 adoption, and Copilot readiness and use-case identification
Agile Enablement & Delivery (40%)
- Support and facilitate Agile-based delivery efforts within IT and business teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Provide Agile training and coaching informed by PMI-ACP or Scrum-based practices, tailored to client maturity and organizational context
- Apply Agile project management techniques to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
- Leverage tools such as Microsoft Planner, Jira, or Smartsheets to support transparent planning, reporting, and execution
IT Operating Model (20%)
- Assist in the design and refinement of IT operating models informed by ITIL 4 concepts and leading practices
- Support definition of roles, processes, service ownership, and performance metrics across IT functions
- Help clients align operating model design with Agile delivery, portfolio management, and modern tooling
Client & Team Collaboration
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for client workstreams, working closely with client IT and business leaders
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build credibility, facilitate workshops, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Informally mentor junior consultants and associates through knowledge sharing, coaching, and peer support
- Operate collaboratively within small engagement teams with support from firm leadership
Qualifications:
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, business administration (technology focus), or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in consulting, IT transformation, technology strategy, or related roles
- Experience working in Agile project environments with strong grounding in Agile delivery practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing professional client-facing deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Preferred
- Agile certification or formal training (PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with ITIL 4 concepts and IT operating model design
- Experience with Microsoft services, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Copilot readiness or enablement
- Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Planner, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project and work management platforms
- Relevant certifications including PMI-ACP, CSM, ITIL 4, and/or Azure
- Work Environment & Travel
