Client Services Specialist


Serve as clerical/administrative support for all client service areas of the firm. Responsible for the daily clerical/administrative support for engagement teams, partners and staff.

Essential Functions:
Cross train for all office clerical tasks including but not limited to the following:

  • Process and assemble client deliverables including but not limited to financial statements, tax returns, cost reports and presentation highlights.
  • Type, format and foot financial statements
  • Prepare letters, client proposals, mailing labels, and shipping waybills
  • Filing, scanning, shredding
  • Greet clients, answer switchboard, and cover front reception desk as needed
  • Log outgoing mail and client pick-ups
  • Review staff expense reports
  • Assist business development efforts with client alert emails and mailouts
  • Assist HR Manager with the administration of human resources related processes
  • Review and proof financial statements, proposals, reports, correspondence, etc.
  • May assist with Accounting and Bookkeeping activities such as time reconciliations, client billings; etc.
  • Facilitate meal provision for training and in-house meetings
  • Execute special office projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/ Skills / Work Experience:

    • Proven clerical / administrative experience
    • Professional service firm experienced preferred
    • Minimum five years’ office/clerical support experience
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to all information including both internal and client data
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
    • Knowledge of accounting, data and clerical practices and procedures
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be a strong proofreader and well versed in editing professional documents.
    • Comfortable managing competing priorities, moving quickly, independent problem-solving, and going above and beyond
    • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
    • Conservative conduct, communication and appearance
    • Team player
    • Adaptable and flexible
