340B Program Compliance Analyst
Summary:
Assist in providing high quality, high value compliance services to 340B Covered Entities. Excellent computer & writing skills as well as attention to detail are necessary to be successful in this position. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of 340B, with preferable experience working in a 340B program at a large hospital or health system covered entity. 340B ACE is also preferred. Candidates will be personable and willing to foster and grow client relationships. Compensation will be commensurate with work experience; full benefit package available including health insurance, 401(k) match, and travel bonus.
Essential Functions:
- Provide 340B Program Audits for compliance with Program requirements and guidelines
- Provide value-added services such as formulary reviews and savings analysis and optimization
- Effectively monitor and implement any changes or modifications to program regulatory requirements for multiple types of covered entities
- Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
Professional Communication:
- Maintain confidentiality related to all information including both internal and client data
- Maintain professional relationships and convey relevant information to clients of varying backgrounds (finance, pharmacy, revenue cycle, compliance, etc.)
- Collaborate with a broad cross-section of executives, managers, professional and technical staff to achieve results
Teamwork:
- Accept assignments based on Firm/Client needs and your qualifications and competencies
- Work closely with other staff, co-workers, peers and other members of the health care clients to ensure a positive and effective work environment
- Report to appropriate personnel regarding assignments, projects, etc.
- Initiate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships with clients and peers
Professional Development:
- Attend staff meetings and continuing education
- Contribute to annual reviews of peer performance as requested by the manager or partner.
- Assist in the development of indicators, thresholds, study methods, and data collection as assigned
- Respond to problems/opportunities to improve client service
- Apply a high degree of analytical, interpretive and evaluative skills, frequently dealing with complex concepts and imaginative approaches to problem definition and resolution
- Participate in and maintain competencies required for the position and specific area(s) of assignment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Business Analyst
- Three years hospital Pharmacy experience
- Apexus 340B ACE Certification preferred
- CPhT certification preferred
- Organizational skills to meet deadlines and adapt to client needs
- Self-motivated; ability to work well with teams
- Experience/skill with computers & spreadsheets and other accounting applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), as well as database management (such as 340B third-party administrators)
- Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension and expression
- Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect)
- Willing to travel throughout the country up to two weeks per month
- Possess own transportation for travel not requiring air travel
