The 340B Program registration period is now open and has been extended to October 17, 2016.
Registration is the process of adding a covered entity, outpatient facility (child site), or contract pharmacy to the 340B Program that is not already participating. A new site can only be added to the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) OPA database during the quarterly registration period.
Eligible sites added and approved by the HRSA’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs during this window will have Program start dates of January 1, 2017.
Covered entities and eligible entities looking to participate should be prepared to register prior to October 17, 2016. Our office is available to assist with registration questions and assistance in determining eligibility of new locations.
